HOLD HER HAND TONIGHT © Ron Burres

 HOLD HER HAND TONIGHT

Father, hold her hand tonight
as she leaves this earthly darkness, and walks into your light
She loved you so,
as only you can know.
Dear father hold her hand tonight.
Angels rejoice and sing
as another is coming home to accept her pair of wings
She spent her time well while on this earthly plane,
but now she’s really home
Thank you Father for blessing our lives
 with this special soul
We know she was just on loan.

(This poem was written to my children upon the death of their mom, Claudia)
